The narrative that a man is more capable than a woman have been nullified by the majority of women who are continuing to be in spaces of leadership and in male dominated industries. There is a need for societies to make peace with the fact that women are equally capable and they can work as truck drivers, CEO's, presidents and member of parliaments.
In areas where competence is the determining factor, gender must not be an issue. A more productive environment is a the one where everyone is given a fair chance to represent their interests in a more inclusive manner. There are history of women who have made it in the political space as an indication that they equally deserve a chance.
The world is gravitating towards diversity and inclusion and therefore organizations and states must change with the times to create a suitable environments for both genders to be genuinely & equally represented in positions of power and in male dominated spaces. No one should not be disadvantaged and no one should fear to occupy any space.
